The Sugar Audit

Calculate, balance and improve your wellbeing

The underlying issue that The Sugar Audit addresses is that we don’t know how much additional sugar we are consuming and how consumption of sugar could be draining our wellbeing and impacting long term health.

The Sugar Audit has three elements:

  • Calculate: how much sugar is in your diet? Where is it coming from?  Is it impacting wellbeing or contributing to existing health conditions?

  • Balance: individually tailored dietary and lifestyle recommendations to bring intake of sugar in line with national guidelines and move towards a more balanced diet,

  • Improve health: evaluation of dietary changes, self-assessment of challenges and health improvements and identification of next steps.

The Sugar Audit is aimed at long term, sustainable and personalised change to transform wellbeing and maximise health benefits.  It aims to give participants the tools and understanding to be more engaged with their dietary choices.  It will teach them to evaluate not just what they eat but how their food choices may also impact other areas of wellbeing such as sleep, mental health and overall energy.  Some participants may also achieve weight loss as a side benefit, but it is not the core focus of The Sugar Audit.
